IPEI supports educators with innovative ideas that energize the curriculum and foster authentic learning experiences that reach all students. Our programs bring a diverse range of community resources into the classroom, stretching students’ imagination, increasing engagement, and enhancing education. IPEI has four distinct grant programs;
Grants will be awarded three times during the 2018-19 school year, using the following deadlines for application submissions: October 10, January 9, and March 20.
Applications are due by end of each deadline day (midnight).

Teacher Grants
IPEI’s Teacher Grants program provides grants up to $1,500.00 to ICSD teachers interested in implementing an innovative educational project that directly enhances student learning and/or support student achievement. Proposals designed in collaboration with at least one community partner will be considered.

Red and Gold Grants
Red and Gold Grants are one-time awards of up to $500 to teachers, staff, students or community members for projects that strengthen and enrich learning.

Community Collaboration Grants
Community Collaboration Grants give up to $3,000 to not-for-profit organizations initiating curricular-enhancing programs in partnership with ICSD. IPEI is currently reviewing the Community Collaborations Grants program to determine how to best meet the needs of the ICSD schools and community. No applications will be accepted at this time.

Connecting Classrooms Grants
Connecting Classrooms Grants began in 2014-15. Funded by the Our Children * Our Schools * Our Future capital campaign, they encourage partnerships within and across Ithaca schools.
