The Ithaca Public Education Initiative (IPEI) will be co-hosting two upcoming School Board Candidate Forums to provide voters with an opportunity to learn more about candidate priorities and vision for the district ahead of the upcoming budget vote and board election on May 19th.

This forum will be led by the Ithaca PTA Council with a focus on questions from ICSD caregivers. Moderated by PTA Council Secretary, Brit Campese, the questions for all candidates will be prepared ahead of time with no open floor questions taken during the forum. A live stream and recording of the forum will be available on IPEI's YouTube channel.

Facilitated by the  Village at Ithaca Youth Board, this community forum offers a unique perspective on the slate of school board candidates in preparation for the Ithaca City School District 2026 Budget Vote and School Board Election on Tuesday May 19th. No audience questions will be taken during the forum. A live stream and recording of the forum will be available on IPEI's YouTube channel.
