IPEI provides fiscal sponsorship for the following groups and projects that align with its mission to reduce barriers to connecting Ithaca’s community and public schools.

Fine Arts Booster Group

Fiscally-sponsored by IPEI since 2001

Fine Arts Booster Group (FABG) believes the arts, music, dance, and visual, literary and theater arts are a central part of every child’s public school education.

FABG volunteers communicate arts news, award mini-grants, coordinate the repair of donated used musical instruments, produce the secondary school concert and play programs, and connect community resources to the schools.

IthacaSTEM Advocates

Fiscally-sponsored by IPEI since 2013

IthacaSTEM Advocates is a volunteer-run organization devoted to fostering the appreciation, knowledge, and application of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) by encouraging involvement in STEM-related activities, clubs, teams, events, and classes in the Ithaca City School District.

IthacaSTEM raises funds to improve learning opportunities in STEM disciplines for all ICSD students, and works to facilitate collaboration among STEM-related groups in the Ithaca area.

    Boynton 6th Grade Camping Trip

    Boynton Middle School family members, in partnership with teachers, raise funds for the school’s annual overnight Finger Lakes camping trip with team building and nature exploration to ensure that no student is left behind for lack of ability to pay.
