The Ithaca Public Education Initiative (IPEI) will be co-hosting two upcoming School Board Candidate Forums to provide voters with an opportunity to learn more about candidate priorities and vision for the district ahead of the upcoming budget vote and board election on May 19th. 

Wednesday May 13, 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Dewitt Middle School Auditorium
560 Warren Road, Ithaca
5:30pm pizza dinner and childcare provided

This forum will be led by the Ithaca PTA Council with a focus on questions from ICSD caregivers. Moderated by PTA Council Secretary, Brit Campese, the questions for all candidates will be prepared ahead of time with no open floor questions taken during the forum. A live stream and recording of the forum will be available on IPEI's YouTube channel. 

Thursday May 14, 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Beverly J Martin Elementary School Library
302 W. Buffalo St., Ithaca (enter on N. Albany St.)
Pizza and childcare provided

This forum will be led by the Village at Ithaca Youth Board with a focus on student-related issues. The students will have prepared questions for each candidate with no audience questions taken during the forum. A live stream and recording of the forum will be available on IPEI's YouTube channel.
