Mentoring Initiative
Many youth-serving organizations as well as theschools encourage mentoring at all levels ranging from older students reading with younger ones in elementary schools to the national Big Brother Big Sister model. IPEI convened meetings of school and community members who offer mentoring programs to encourage collaboration and to increase public awareness. Continued interaction and cooperation are needed.
