Committees

IPEI accomplishes its goals through the hard work of our volunteers serving on the following committees.

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee meets monthly to plan Board Meeting agendas and to handle any critical issues that arise between board meetings. The Executive Committee is comprised of the officers of IPEI, and the chairs of the Development and Public Relations Committees.

Nominating Committee

The Nominating Committee is comprised of three members of the IPEI board and two non-members.  It meets as needed to review candidates for the board and committees, in preparation for the Annual Meeting each September.

Development Committee

The Development Committee is responsible for current and prospective donor relations and fundraising.  The committee meets monthly.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee reviews the financial condition of IPEI each month and reports to the board. They are responsible for all payments, our investment activities, and coordinating each year with our auditors.

Public Relations Committee

The Public Relations committee is responsible for news releases, advertising, and requests for IPEI’s sponsorship. The committee meets monthly.

Teacher Grants Committee

The Teacher Grants Committee is responsible for evaluating all applications for Teacher Grants. The applications are due at the beginning of November for each school year.  Grants are awarded once per school year.

Red and Gold Opportunities Grants Committee

The Red and Gold Opportunities Grants Committee evaluates applications and awards grants for proposals that strengthen and enrich the school experience for students, but fall outside the criteria for our Teacher Grants program.  Grants are awarded on a rolling basis.

Awards Committee

This committee administers the IPEI scholarships and awards that celebrate student and staff accomplishments. The committee also represents IPEI at the award presentation ceremonies.

Community Collaboration Grants Committee

The Community Collaboration Grants Committee evaluates applications and awards grants to community organizations that are collaborating with the ICSD. Grants are awarded on a rolling basis.
