Community Collaboration Grants 2012-13

Two Row Wampum

The Community Collaboration Grants Committee has awarded $1900 to a project called Two Row Wampum initiated by the Native American Studies Program at Ithaca College in coordination with Jon Raimon at LACS. The project proposes to engage educators, community members, and local Native Americans from the Haudenosaunee Nations to foster education and mutual collaboration about Native American history and contemporary issues in grades 4, 11 and 12 throughout the district, reaching at least 300 students.
